Run; that's all they ever seem to do. Run. Tom chases Jerry for reasons both known and unknown. Here's a recent assessment of what Tom and Jerry is really teaching us. Don't think they are teaching us about LOVE? Disregard the chainsaws, guns and heavy violence, and the eternal fight between cats and mice. Focus on the concept of chasing. Love. We continue this cycle of chasing something, sometimes for reasons we know and sometimes for reasons unknown. Over and over, even if we get hurt along the way, we never seem to learn our lesson; and the chase goes on. In perspective, I hope we all still keep a positive attitude when it comes to this emotion that has songs, poems, books and all sorts of media created in it's honor.
