-The 2nd first day-

The class was "pin drop" silent, all you could hear are whispers and the sight of people looking around, trying to adjust to the new people in the class. More than half of the class are from different classes, so that really caused everyone to be even more silent. The first two professors seemed strict, the aura and feeling they brought to to the class seemed to make the hairs on my back stand up. The Filipino professor really speaks Filipino, no English at all, phew~ it's hard to catch up, I'm really still freaked out with the fact that it might be hard... but I'm praying, praying, hoping that it'll get better. The last two professors granted me a breath of relief, the first one was for Physical Science, she seemed cool in a hippie kind of way, and the last one was for P.E, he was our previous psychology professor doing a part time job in the gym, I guess along with the whole French learning and learning ballroom dancing and other dances are really gonna be a great combination :) Well, after all of that, we had a chance to watch a great percussions performance by a National Ensemble from the University of the Philippines, amazing sounds, beautiful rythm and unforgettable beats. Amazing how even the oldest and most native instruments can really change the way we look at our culture and origins. What a day... hopefully everything will be better tommorow and the next... and the next... Goodbye~~
