-For the Greatest Men alive-

Today, as Wikipedia states, is "Father's Day". Apparently it doesn't seem to be felt here in the country, so I want to start. A father. He is human, he has the soul and the heart of any man. He made a child, an offspring... someone who is to make him proud someone he will look up to as well and expect the child to be happy in whatever he does. A father is simply the closest man who you can go to, to ask about life, ocassionally love but mostly when you need warm yet strong protection. He was always the person you never really approached but when you did, you know his warm smile and wise eyes would let you free. He was always the one who knew what to say when it needed to be said., the one who always kept you in the right path, he did it even though he knew it would hurt us at that moment but he knew in the end, we would still be the winners. He knew... he always knew... No one can be anyone without a father, it's hard... despite the dificulties and standards they always set for us, they always seem to be right... yes, it's annoying yet, we still have to admit, they're great at doing it. Even though they walked out the doors, and never came back always remember, they are a part of you... you could hate them, you could love them, but in retrospect, he will always be your father... A man, who when you graduate will shed a tear, and it will be the only one you see because after he sees you succeeding, he'll know he's done his job. He is always gonna be the one who puts up with whatever problem you deal with, whether it's a math problem or a broken heart... So, I hope for all those who get to read this post... please, look your father in the eyes, look through him, grab his hands that have held you time and time again, and tell him the thing that you have to say... always tell him, he's the one who made it all possible in the end... Tell your father you love him and nothing will ever change that... Thank you dad... :)

All fathers are invisible in daytime; daytime is ruled by mothers and fathers come out at night. Darkness brings home fathers, with their real, unspeakable power. There is more to fathers than meets the eye.- Margaret Atwood
