So, after reaching the place, we had to walk a few metres to the home along with food with our hands. The place had quite a big area but it really seemed crowded with all the buildings next to each other, and it seemed to be overpopulated as well. As we entered their small hall for a small presentation, they brought in the old folks, most of them on wheelchairs, you could really see the wrinkles on their foreheads representing all the yesterdaays of their humble lives. We first had a small introduction of what university we were from, then we started the presentation with singing and dancing, and we also had an audience participation segment where we let them have a chance to let their voices be heard. Some told us stories that could bring a tear to even the toughest heart, some of them don't even know why they're there, while others said there just living the remaining days ahead. With this as our driving force, we tried our best to entertain them and at least make them smile.
The excitement grew as the next place we were off to was a swimming resort heh~ so plenty of swimming and sliding. We stayed at the resort longer than we stayed at the Old Folks home heh~ After the whole swimming fun, we headed on home back to school, everyone was tired but still the ride home was fun, stopping at a Starbucks and laughing the whole way back.
